In Insulated Concrete Forms...
Almost all Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF’s) are built horizontally. Generally in block form. All but one.
The TF System® is a vertically oriented system. No blocks. We can build the full storey height in one shot. From the ground. No laying block upon block, row upon row. No unnecessary climbing up and down ladders. No fiddling at the job-site cutting blocks to height, trying to make them fit YOUR building plan.
With TF System® - the Vertical ICF - you are free to build the project of your dreams, without being curtailed by block lengths and heights.
In the time it takes to place blocks beside one another, you too can build up to 12 feet in height. Ever tried to build a curved wall with straight blocks? If you remember, it didn’t work well with those toy blocks when you were a kid either. With the TF System® components, you can build curved walls with as little as a one foot inside radius!
Building that tall wall (like for your great room) will become a snap. thanks to our patented sliding panels, which will allow you to pour concrete without it ever falling more than 8 feet. Try that with a block based ICF system!
Simple Construction
TF System® insulated concrete forms were designed for building walls from the ground, without scaffolding, with fewer parts. There's less learning, less equipment, and less labor. Yet TF System® insulated concrete forms can build all the wall types and features you need. They can even do some useful things that other insulated concrete forms can't.

The Choice Is Simple
Simply A Better House
Simple Choice
If you are building with insulated concrete forms, why wouldn't you want to use a system that's easier to learn, faster, easier to build with, and takes less equipment? If you are building a house with insulated concrete forms, why wouldn't you ask for a system that has all the benefits?
Everyone knows that insulated concrete forms build a better house. They are energy efficient, more comfortable, quieter, and they stand up to time and the elements. TF System® gives you all the strength, R-value and mass of full-thickness insulated concrete forms because it is one. It's just designed for more streamlined, error-free construction.

The
GREEN
Choice!
There is no greener building material than concrete, and it’s already well known for its strength and durability. Studies have proven that for a given climate, the life cycle environmental impact is much greater for a wood house than for an ICF house. The most significant environmental impact is not from construction materials but from the production and use of electricity & natural gas and the use of these products in the houses by the occupants.
All things being equal, a TF System® house will have lower energy use than a conventional wood house.
Improved Energy Operations. The superior insulation, air tightness, and mass of the walls can reduce the cost of operating HVAC in the building by up to 40% or more (depending on climatic location). In addition, ICF's allow the installation of smaller (generally, less expensive) heating and cooling equipment. The high R-value combined with thermal mass means ICF walls exceed most energy code requirements. If the building is like most buildings, it is using fossil fuel in one form or another. By reducing the building’s fossil fuel requirements, the TF System® plays an important role in reducing the negative environmental impacts associated with fossil fuel use. Our products can also contribute to LEED Credits.
When annual energy savings of 25-40% for residential projects are factored in, the economics are clear!
For commercial projects, the economics become even more compelling, as savings of up to 68% have been shown over conventional, tilt-up construction methods.
