Design Flexibility
Due to the vertical orientation of TF SystemŽ, buildings are designed to the clients needs and can easily incorporate intricate design features such as arches and curves.
Structural Strength
TF SystemŽ is just a reinforced concrete wall with foam on each side, much stronger than building constructed from blocks or other building methods.
High Thermal Value
With a minimum of 2˝ inches of EPS foam on the inside and outside of the formwork produces superior R-values of up to R-40 greatly reducing heating and/or cooling costs. Energy savings of up to 40% for residential project (savings of 68% have been shown in some commercial applications) in comparison to conventional construction methods.
Superior Sound Proofing
Due to the combination of concrete and polystyrene the TF SystemŽ is a highly effective sound barrier preventing the travel of sound throughout a building. Both from the outside, or from within the house. Many clients use the TF SystemŽ components within the building envelope to construct a Home Theater or Sound Room. Fire Rating
Due to the concrete filled walls of the TF SystemŽ, a fire rating of up to 3 hours can be achieved, depending on concrete wall thickness. All foam materials have both Canadian and US approvals.
